Captain of the Varsity team, #14 Mitchell Gorney
Mitchell has been playing hockey since he was 4 years old. He has played most positions including, Center, Forward, and Defense over the last 3 years on the Varsity Team.
He would like to thank his parents for being there for almost every game from travel to high school hockey, to cheer him on, and watch him develop as a hockey player.
After Graduation, he looks forward to studying Computer Design and playing hockey at the next level.
His favorite Varsity hockey memory was playing in the Tawas tournament his Junior year.
He offers a big thanks to the coaching staff and facility staff for helping the players throughout this hectic year.

#17 Brendan Beasinger
Brendan has played as a Right Wing and Center on the Varsity team for the last 3 years.
He would like to thank his parents for all the support through his hockey journey, and countless hours of dedication.
After graduation, he plans to play Juniors in Fort Wayne, Indiana, while majoring in Business.
“Beazer’s” favorite Varsity hockey memory was playing in the Tawas tournament his Junior year.
His advice to underclassmen is “Don’t give up, even when it gets hard. It’s all worth it in the end.”

#15 Rylee Edmonds
Rylee has played as a Right Wing and Center on the Varsity team for the last 3 years.
He would like to thank his grandparents for supporting him and always having his back. They have always pushed him to be a better person, and he appreciates it.
“Ryls’” favorite varsity hockey memory was playing in the Tawas tournament his Junior year. The whole team came up to his room, and Hayden Rose started jumping from bed to bed until he broke the bed!
His favorite saying is “Put the biscuit in the basket!”
He would like to thank Coach Lesser for having his back, and for pushing him to do better in school, and in hockey.

#16 Trey Peterson
Trey has been playing hockey since he was 4 years old. He has played as a Right Wing and Center on the Varsity team for the last 3 years.
He would like to thank his family for putting skates on him at a young age.
After Graduation, he plans to play Junior hockey, and attend Northern Michigan University.
Trey P’s favorite Varsity hockey memory is getting happy meals after the games!
His advice to underclassmen is to always “Be on time!”

#3 Alexander Griffel
Alex has been playing hockey since he was 7 years old. He has played both Forward, and Defense positions on the Varsity team.
He is the only senior on this year’s team to have played ALL four years of his high school career on the Varsity team.
Alex would like to thank his family for supporting him throughout the year. It means a lot to him that they are all here with him today.
After Graduation, he plans to attend Mott Community College for the first year before transferring to a University.
“Griff’s” favorite varsity hockey memory was, as a freshman, getting to play with his brother Joshua during Joshua’s senior year.
Alex says, “There is no better place than a hockey locker room after a win!”

#19 Xaden Lacina
Xaden is in his second year with the Varsity team, having spent last year as the Team Manager, and through hard work and determination, is a Forward on this year’s team.
He would like to thank his Dad for helping him be successful on the ice, and his mom for waiting in parking lots, so he could have opportunities to skate.
After graduation, he plans to attend Mott Community College for 2 years and study Media Arts and Entertainment, before transferring to Central Michigan University to complete his studies.
“Manny’s” favorite varsity hockey memory by far was the Tawas tournament his junior year.
A favorite saying by Jim McKenny about hockey is “Half of the game is mental, and the other half is being mental!”

# 7 Kyle MacDonald
Kyle is a Left Wing playing his first year on the Varsity team.
He would like to thank his parents for pushing him to be a better person and a better hockey player.
“Mac’s” favorite hockey memories include all the shenanigans that go on in the locker room.
He says, “The reason that I love hockey is that when you are playing you just forget about things going on, and just focus on the game.”
Kyle’s advice to underclassmen is “Don’t take high school too seriously!”
He would like to thank the coaches for making this shortened hockey season fun and worth it.

#2 Vincenzo DiTrani
Vincenzo has played Defense for two years on the Grand Blanc Varsity team.
He would like to thank his parents for helping him through his entire hockey career. Whether it was buying gear, or going to games, they were there!
After graduation, he plans to study video editing.
Some of his favorite hockey memories include hanging out with the teammates on the bus rides home from games.
Everyone thinks Vinny is an only child, but he has four older sisters.
He would like to thank his family and coaches for helping him to be the best person he can be, on and off the ice.
