Head Grand Blanc Basketball Coach Mike Thomas and his Varsity Bobcats came out of the gate ON FIRE at Saginaw Heritage! Their defense was suffocating and they RAN THE FLOOR the ENTIRE game. Saginaw Heritage was outmatched with the Bobcat’s intensity, speed, strength, ball movement, unselfish play, and scoring. If that wasn’t enough IT WAS RAINING THREES – not by one, but by committee. The end result of this performance was an 83-42 victory. If the Bobcats make the 3 ball and play with this velocity they will not be stopped. RJ Taylor led all scorers with 21, Ty Rodgers added 14, Tae Boyd followed with 13 and Jacob Carlson nailed four 3 pointers to contribute 12. Next up we have a rematch of last year’s fantastic game with Flint Beecher at Tartoni, followed by a Friday matchup with arch-rival Carmen-Ainsworth. March Madness is upon us and we are blessed with one of the best teams in the state.
